　　作为每四年举办一次的足球盛大赛事，每一届世界杯都能激起世界球迷们的热情与狂欢。2022年卡塔尔世界杯（FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022）是第二十二届世界杯足球赛，因疫情和天气导致延期，首次定于北半球冬季开幕，在卡塔尔境内5座城市中的8座球场举行。四年一度的足球盛宴，为大家带来别样的冬日激情。

　　在看世界杯时，我们总会碰到这个单词“FIFA”，其实际上是国际足联的缩写，英文全称是（International Federation of Association Football）。

　　世界杯的英语说法是“World Cup”，今年的世界杯在卡塔尔举行，因此举办名为FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022。

　　第一次在亚洲举行的世界杯足球赛是2002年韩日世界杯（2002 Korea Japan FIFA World Cup），也就是第十七届世界杯足球赛。这也是首次由两个国家共同举办的世界杯。

　　像奥运会一样，每一届的世界杯也会有吉祥物。今年卡塔尔世界杯的吉祥物是——La'eeb，中文名是“拉伊卜”，是一个具有中东服装特色的十分可爱的小家伙。La'eeb在阿拉伯语中的意思是“技艺高超的球员（super-skilled player），寓意是鼓励所有人相信自己，它将带领人们享受足球带来的乐趣。
